Using our local knowledge we cater for all levels of experience, or for those wishing to combine walking with a flavour of the Auvergne, the balance of walks and sightseeing is easy to adjust.

Challenging routes or inspiring rambles, all you need to bring is you and your kit, we can do the rest, from transport to packed lunches, maps and guides, Jim will even come out with you if you want some support and company on the trail.

Walking around Sancy

Visit Puy de Sancy the highest point in the Massif Central.

Some steep climbing and edges to walk if you are feeling adventurous although there are shorter routes up and down for less strenuous walking and even the cable car to the summit if you want to get to the top quickly

Nearby is the Chaudefour valley, take a lazy stroll through one of the most scenic areas around here. A natural spring, two waterfalls, a stream to sit by as we eat our packed lunch, perfect. There are so many great walks including trips to the summit of Sancy.
